Plaza Del Sol

Stopped in here for a late lunch with my teen and toddler. We were greeted on entry and quickly seated. The waitress came promptly and she was very nice. The menu is a bit extensive, one will need a few minutes to decide as they have a wide variety to choose from. The complimentary chips were fresh, the salsa I expected more. If it was prepared fresh would have been so much better. The white bean dip was just OK. The food was not hot, the portion was decent but the beans tou could count. When I see rice and beans that is exactly what I expect. The tamales were not very good at all. Probably just different from what we have previously ate at other places. I also felt there was a lack of flavor for a Mexican restaurant. Not an expensive place and we loved the decor. Would visit again, if it is even to find the best thing on the menu.

Service and food were phenomenal! We will be back again.

I bought a Cali burrito to go and beer while I waited. The chicken was over cooked and the price was $30.47. While the staff was friendly the price for an over cooked burrito is extordinary. This is the third visit before I posted because it used to be a great restaurant. The old manager was more polite and honest. I've caught the new manager over charging me 2 of the last 3 times I was there and I'm sure he overcharged the last time. I will never return while the current manager is there.

Score is low, but food was decent, the place looked spotless, even the bathroom. The food was great and a large portion, chips and bean dip and even the cheese dip were good but not hot enough. But the taste was good, but really wanted food to be hot.

Loved this place! Friendly, clean! Fresh and very good food! We will be back to try more.
