Plantation Motel

The owners are very hospitable, genuine, and helpful. I came for a few nights and ended up staying 2 weeks.

Room was extremely hot and humid, cracks in the wall and ceiling, dirty unclean room, room smelled awful, bugs everywhere, and horribly rude customer service. We were extremely desperate for a place to sleep, so we paid 150 for a “deluxe” bedroom. It was the worst buy ever. Don’t fall for it. This place needs to be shut down. It’s so bad, we ended up setting up a tent in the room. If you’re coming for an event, book early... very early. If not, then you’ll have to stay in a place like this. You’re better off getting a can of febreze and sleeping in a dumpster.

Well, let me tell you a story. It won't be long because we weren't there for 5 minutes before we decided eff that mess. I turned down the bed, and noticed a roach crawl across the desk. Went to get a refund and noticed we were short changed $20. Apparently making the bed back costs that much? (I'm in the wrong business, I guess). Dirty, dumpy, stinky. Gonna call the Health Department when the sun rises. Would rather drive the 8+ hours back home than try that again. -5 stars if I could.

Poorly maintenance motel with overpriced week charges and the owners hardly understand a lick of English. There were bugs everywhere holes in the wall and we kept worrying if our place was going to burn down because the water heaters was heating up the wall like a sauna and we checked out today and they told us that we had to be out by 1030 am even though it says you have to be checked out by 11

I had a coupon that stated a price, got there and the owner tried to come up w/ an excuse to jack up the price higher than the printed price. The coupon price was too high for the condition of this older motel. After showing me the room, he told me a lower price as I walked back to my truck. The owner is money hungry. If he updated the property it might be a decent place for an older motel.
