Pizza Shack

We have been to the SHACK several times. Pizza, sandwiches and salad bar always yummy ????. The salad bar is always clean and very fresh. On a recent visit 5-24-25 we sat upstairs. Very pleasant atmosphere, decent view through multiple windows. We ordered a medium pizza, with 5 toppings, 2 salad bars. 1 tall beer, 1 cocktail, soft drinks total only $45 dollars plus tip. Server Steven was professional, efficient and friendly. The pizza was EXCELLENT. Not very many sit down restaurants where you can get extraordinary food, service and atmosphere at a good price. THE SHACK IS ONE ???? Keep up the GREAT work.

The meatloaf was edible, but I would not order again. The sweet pairing with the smoke flavor was off. Macaroni and cheese were brought instead of the burgundy mushrooms as ordered. They fixed the error promptly. They let me keep the mac and cheese and quickly served the mushrooms. Upon trying the mushrooms. Three out of all eaten were cold. One mushroom was hot on one side and cold on the other. The mac and cheese was cooked perfectly. Perfect taste and perfect cook. The salad bar was decent, although missing mushrooms and black olives. I didn't search thoroughly here, so the error could be mine. The waitress was polite and considerate. Probably will not be back. Especially for the price paid for a second-rate meal.

Newly remodeled, my buddy Dave, and I had to check out this established pizza shop. We both got the Detroit style pizzas. One with ham and mushrooms. The second one was a supreme. The crust closely resembles a Sicilian style but not as crunchy on the edges. Flavor was there, and the sauce was good. Toppings were there, but could of been a little more generous. Overall, this is a good pie, but if you like only thin crust, this isn't for you. Although they have thin crust, we will try that on our next visit. My pizza rating 7.0 Detroit style only.

We had a to-go order which included a large detroit style chicken buffalo pizza, a personal veggie pizza, half rack of ribs with fries and brussel sprouts and 3 pieces of lemon blueberry cake. After spending over 100$, I was very disappointed with everything. Missing and sub-par food. This is NOT what im used to from this restaurant. Please do better! To end on a positive note, the cake was great! UPDATE: I received a CALL from manager Steven immediately after posting the above review and he listened to all my concerns and asked us to come back and ask for him an he would make it right for us. I was super impressed by the quick response and not a reply, but a phone call! This is what I expect from this restaurant. I changed my review from a 1 to a 3 star. Thank you Steven.

Not one bad thing to say. India was our bartender and made the perfect drinks. The southeast egg roll appetizer was delicious, including the slaw it sat on. I had the cod sandwich, flaky, not greasy and it was large. Instead of ff, I got the Brussel sprouts, and they were so tasty. Friend got the birratta tacos with garlic rice and was also completely satisfied. We will be back again. This is a great hidden jewel.
