Pink Mani Pedi

These were done on Saturday, one nail started to peel Monday night… it’s Wednesday…they are all cracking on the sides and peeling. I asked for extra time under the UV LIGHT because this is not the first or second time it happened. And originally I was told I’m not arching my thumb good enough for that nail to fully cure, so I try to be extra mindful of my hand in there. Also, I usually get black nails. I was told black is always an issue…So I get a different color. I appreciate them getting fixed but it’s so inconvenient to have to constantly roll the dice if the nail polish will last. The ladies are nice, the service is good, and the shop is clean. But I don’t have the time for nail redo’s during the week. I’ve been a customer for 2 years but I’m officially done.

I asked for a refill, gel and chrome. I was charge $65, which is a little pricey. This is the worse my nails have ever looked. I specifically asked the gentlemen if he knew how to do chrome and he said yes. It hasn’t even been a week and my nails are chipping, the finish is bumpy and there are bubbles. I will never go back. I had a special occasion and it ruined my look. Yes he was very nice but I didn’t go there to make friends. It was a business arrangement, not a club.

Not one to write review, but this place really deserves one. The guys here know their stuff. I am a very detailed and neat freak, so when I get my nails done, I want to see attention to detail, and very neat work. Especially with the side creases of my nails which a lot of these nail salon miss. Ken,did an amazing job. Not once did I speak or complain. I watched him do my nails effortlessly and quickly. For every time I get to a new nail salon, I start by getting French tips done which is for me the simplest set to get done. If the nail tech messes it up, I’m never coming back. Ken nailed every bit of it and now they have me a customer for like. And a big tipper going forward. So if you are like me, and want a place with less wait time, detailed and neat work, go to Pink Mani and Pedi. You won’t regret it. Best time is on Sunday as well.

This is my dip powder after 1 week. I’m leaving this review because it also happened with the last set I had on. I can’t even say it lasted one week because it didn’t last. Both sets, the gel top coat started chipping after a few days and a few of the the nails cracked. I haven’t been rough on my hands as I’ve been home sick so there’s no excuse for this. I’m addition to them not lasting, when I had them done, I told the girl my pinky nail was shorter than the rest and that I had a photo shoot which is why I was having them done and she asked if my nails would be in the photos, didn’t fix it or add a tip, told me it would grow in and be better next time…Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

Pretty good but they dont take credit cards. It’s 2022. Who carries cash? I sure dont. I won’t be returning until they start taking cards. I suspect they do this so you will use the atm machine in the salon which is probably owned by them. Not cool.
