Absolutely delicious, first time in my life the fish tastes like solid meat. I had fish grill before in comparison they tastes almost hollow. Great and fast service, decent value and protion size, most fish dishes tastes great. Taking one star off for the bad seafood pasta, for $25 there are very little fish & shrimps, and the pasta had too much cheese. Just avoid and order everything else.

We had an opportunity to stop at this wonderful restaurant after watching a beautiful sunset. When we arrived it was just after 6pm, and there was a short line, but the line moved quickly. While we were in line a server offered us a menu to preview and asked if we wanted to order drinks while we were in line. Great service as it keeps folks occupied as they are waiting in line. They have a wonderful selection of fish and can be served in in various preparations with your choice from different sides. I had the charbroiled snapper with fries and DH opted for the Cajun snapper with potatoes. You get a number when you order and pay at the counter. You find a seat in the restaurant and food arrives quickly. The fish was well cooked and seasoned! As we ate we noticed that the line continued to grow and by the time we finished our meal, the line went outside and wound its way around the front of the restaurant. If you have the chance to stop by this restaurant, they will not disappoint. Great food, great prices, and great service!

We visited Paia Fish Market for dinner at around 7 PM and it was packed. We had to wait for 30 minutes to order our food but it was worth it. We ordered the deep-fried shrimp ???? for an appetizer and it was so good. For our entrees we opted for the snapper Cajun style and fish & chips. The snapper was excellent but the fish & chips were disappointing. It’s a good place to visit if you want to try out fresh fish. The service was excellent too.

Ok, this might be a long comment... I'll say first of all the food we had was very good and the prices were reasonable. I had the snapper burger; was very tasty! We also had the fish and chips that included 4 pieces of fish, chips were just ok. The big draw back is the set up. You line up and order your meal at the counter (and have to go to a separate counter to order alcohol). Then you get a number and they bring the food to you. There's no way to know what to order until you get to the order counter at the back (some helpful waitresses were handing out menus to people in line.) Then you sit an wait while the whole line up watches you eat at your table, because the line cuts right through the tables :-( . Why not have the order counter at the front? Then you could fit more tables in! What not have a huge printed menu on the wall as you go in? Why do people have to go to 2 counters to put in their order (food/drinks?) Then the poor waitresses were wandering around looking for where to take the order they were bringing out. They walked past us several times trying to find the right tables, weaving in and out of the line up of people. It was nearly comical if it were not so sad. A little more thought out organization/layout would go a long way. Despite all this, the service was rather quick - but then again were were there at 4:30 pm because of the long lines later in the day.

From the outside this place looks like a 4 star Michelin with the flame on the roof but it is actual more like a casual, seafood eatery. When you walk in, there are two lines one for a mini bar of alcoholic drinks and another for the seafood. The meals are preset and not super fancy looking. When you get your plate you might feel deceived by looking at it. It almost looks like a school cafeteria lunch, but the flavor is SOOO GOOD! One of those places where looks can be deceiving. I ordered the fish and chips but also tried the blackened tuna which was good - preferred the fish n chips though. Great, affordable lunch spot!
