Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!! I am a newcomer to the oak lawn tavern and I must say their food is absolutely delicious!! I tried the rib dinner that came with a mashed potato, vegetable, coleslaw and I also tried the Spaetzle which was beyond delicious. It came topped with bacon and fried onions on top of gooey mac and cheese. Great bartenders and great service with a smile. The wait staff is fantastic! it's a tiny, quaint little bar that is family owned and they also have a meat raffle and a gun raffle ???? you can also spin the wheel during happy hour for a free drink, half price drink or $. 50 off. I highly recommend this establishment. ????????????????????

Stopped here after the Ice Fishin' contest. So glad we did! The food was amazing! Great service as well.

I'm not really a type of guy to take my time and go online and write a review. But this one is necessary. This place has such great food , all of it. Not only that, fair prices. And, there are some waitresses and the owner lady is such a sweet person. They really care about their customers. Now, for anyone interested, if you like Rueben sandwich. They have the best I have had in my life, and that's 74 years. It's all home made , nothing in there thrown in a deep fryer out of a package. Try it!
