Newport Beach Pier

This place is beautiful! Not sure if we managed to visit on a slow day but it was nice and quiet but the scenery was great. I loved how many locals were there fishing and how many great places there were for people watching. The beach was clean and also not particularly busy that day. I definitely wish we had more time here, as we didn't get to explore or try many of the restaurants and shops on the area. Will definitely make it a priority to visit again.

This was our second trip to Newport pier. The best thing I like about this Newport beach pier is that they have this morning farmers market where you can buy beach clothing,souvenirs and more, I love the hummus and the fresh bread I got some passionfruit, and some fresh veggies took them all the way back to Vegas. Happy to be there. Honestly we are looking for night markets in LA but we didn’t get parking as you all know finding a parking spot in LA is a nightmare. So we are so grateful that we came at the right time to Newport Beach pier, not to forget we bought some fresh fish from that Dory fish market was so fresh, this market was right there at the entrance to the pier you can’t miss it, and as you walk into the pier. As you walk into the pier you’ll see tons of people fishing, relaxing with some music it’s so good to see in the morning and it was a good vibe all around

A pretty typical Pacific Ocean pier with gift shops, restaurants and bars nearby. You will see a mix of tourists, locals, homeless and people fishing. Good views up and down the coast.

Well kept area around the lifeguard building, statues, and pier. There are public restrooms there too which is nice to have when visiting the beach. Easy beach access and affordable parking options are a short walk away. Several cafes, shops, and restaurants right there too.

Pros: - Newport Beach is wide and clean, while people are kind and relaxed. You can enjoy watching birds and waves, picking up shells, and building sandcastles on the beach. - There are many fun things to do nearby the beach such as Ferris wheel rides, boat cruises, and bike rides. - Newport Beach has many restaurants that offer delicious and diverse food, some of which are open 24 hours. Cons: - During summer or weekends, the beach is very crowded so it’s difficult to find parking spaces. There are almost no free parking lots available while paid parking lots cost around $15 - Bathrooms that are far from the beach have no doors or mirrors and no paper towels.
