Smelled the grease when I walked through the door but that didn’t deter me as I was there to support a long-time locally owned business and to create a positive family memory. That did not occur. Burger was unseasoned and greasy. Strange pile of unmelted shredded cheese. Bacon cooked perfectly but cold. Bun was dry. Fries tasted like fish. Service was ok but was only one bite of my burger in and was asked how it was before I had a chance to swallow it and answer. Moderate noise from the kitchen; banter between cook & server. Will not return, even if it goes under new ownership. Sorry.

REALLY expensive. Small (small!) wor wonton soup runs you $21. Comes with nothing but a spoon. Veg is put in bowl uncooked. Broth is very hot, I imagine to wilt the veg. Server tried to say veg is cooked al dente. No, it's uncooked. I know when broccoli is raw. Actual BBQ sauce on the pork in the soup which was.. unique. Service was decent. Not sure if I'd eat here again. $75 for 2 including tip. One burger, one small soup, 2 6oz wines.

Service was awesome, prices were all about 5 dollars to high.

Excellent a highly recommended. we’re coming back for the K2 ???? we have Wonton/noodle soup, then poutine strawberry milkshake was to die for.

Was really looking forward to trying this place. The atmosphere was fun and our server was amazing. But the food was just okay. The salad was fine and the won ton soup were interesting, and tasted decent, but not spectacular. Will likely be back to try the desserts but so far not in the top five best places we've tried in Nanaimo. My wife wanted to give it 4/5 so we'll split the difference and call it 3.5
