Great down to earth atmosphere, real Jamaican food, regular bar prices drinks, nice service and clean

I’ve love going there because of their concerns of cleanliness. I don’t eat out because of personal reasons but since I and my husband stepped in and observed how much they cared about clean environment, we made it the number one choice. The food comes in no time and we never have any complaints so far except the owner keeps asking for tips anytime we are paying and it looks like they are more concerned about tipping

Drinks are too expensive!!! They don’t even fill it up. 18 dollars for drinks that aren’t even strong. 12 dollars for a side of jerk chicken. Drinks are nasty! Not worth it! They’re definitely overcharging people! By the way, this is how my drink came for 18 dollars. Bartenders were giving people different prices. Margaritas are 24 dollars. That is crazy!

Omg the curry crabs are soooo worth the $60 for 2 pounds!! I will definitely order these every week or every other week lol! Highly recommend!

I like John's food, it's a tad bit pricey. Which is what it is. My issue with them is I have been over charged and had to check the girls a few times. The prices on the menu isn't what I was charged. I ordered a fish sandwich and got 1 and half pieces of fish for what I paid for it, the fish wasn't fishing.. Now the bar maids.. they play too much again I got a shot of Tequila and was like 8 bucks on a Monday. (No top shelf) she was like oh sorry 5 bucks. Every one makes an error but when you are a repeat offender girl bye. One of the bar maids bought a dog in there kissing it on the mouth (she said it was a support animal, I say it's not sanitary 'round my food) Then start making drinks. That said it's a cool hood spot I would go again, just count your money, know how much everything is, you will be OK. *ps the reason why I didn't send the fish sandwich back (someone just asked me as I type this review), is you never tell someone they messed up your food and expect it back without them 'messing' with your food.. I'm not saying they do that but I saw that happen on a show once and never again.. I'd ask for my money back first **
