Modern Nails

This was my first time going to Modern Nails as I was recommended by a friend and looking for a new spot since I'm new to the Chapel Hill/Durham area. I got a full set with pink french tips. The atmosphere was very clean. The set looks amazing, personally better than the inspiration picture in my opinion, and I had the toes to match for the design which I think is super cute! I cannot wait to come again for my upcoming fill-in and future full sets in the future! Recommend to anyone and everyone!

Very pleased with services here! Atmosphere is good, very neat and clean. Customer service a plus. I've even gotten my lashes done and brows tinted I loved the way they came out!

I have been going to Modern Nails for over 3 years and I will NOT go anywhere else. Thalia, is by far my go to nail tech. Everyone there is very good. It’s so hard to find a nail shop that you LOVE! Definitely give Modern nail a try, you won’t regret it.

The owner is always very pleasant. The female employee in the back left corner overcharged me then it appeared that she gave herself a tip. I came to speak to the owner to request a copy of my receipt. Then I shared my experience from last night. When I told the owner, she spoke with the employee. The employee was very loud and aggressive. Even after I asked to lower her voice, she continued to be mean and rude even as she was told to walk away.The owner offered a gift certificate. I heard the employee in the back yelling "Stop lying!" I told the owner she needed to get her employee before I called the authorities. Not only will I never return but I'll share this with other friends and coworkers who I have referred to this business! It is unfortunate that the owner, who has always practiced good customer service, has such a horrible individual servicing customers there! I will still contact the necessary entities that need to be notified.
