Mi Pueblito Restaurant Bar and Grill

This was my first experience in this restaurant. Because of some reviews I read online, I had a preconceived idea that the food would be subpar and overpriced. I'm happy to say, I was wrong about the first part. The food was scrumptious, however, in my opinion, the menu items were pricey. I decided to go with the enchiladas, which surprisingly were the least expensive, but asked for my order to be customized with red sauce instead of green and fajita instead of chicken. I was very pleased to see that my dish was well served! It came with four stuffed enchiladas, beans, and a simple salad. The fajitas were very tender; everything was flavorful. The ladies that accompanied me were also pleased with their dishes - with the exception of the rice. When the time came to pay, we noticed that the 18% tip was automatically included in the tab, which my table frowned upon. The tip for my tab was just under $4, which I thought was reasonable. All in all, I was quite happy with my visit to Mi Pueblito. I will be looking forward to having the chance to visit again.

Ordered steak rare. Said it over and over to the waitress. When the steak arrived, it was beyond well done and stiff. My boyfriend’s filet was also leathery. His charro beans were all liquid w/ZERO beans! Waitress Never came back till we needed check. My food was cold stiff on the plate, . She offered no new steak or beans or even a coffee to rectify the situation. On the way out she glared at me overtly probably because of the 15% tip that she didn’t deserve. It was shameful.

We came In for dinner just after 7pm on a Monday night 4/1/24. The place only had a few cars out front. We sat at the bar. There were only about 2-3 other tables in the whole restaurant with customers. There was one other single party at the bar. At least four employees were observed. The male waiter/bartender waiting on us was not attentive to us. He never asked us how our food was, never asked us if we wanted another margarita which we did but every time we looked up he was playing on his phone. We had to ask for check and a to go box. We sat there with our plates pushed back away from us and my husbands margarita (he had no other drink) empty for 15-20 minutes. We ate here almost 2 years ago and had much better experience. Seems like the place is not doing well and the customer service is horrible. Food was “ok”. Very bland. The bathroom had no soap which makes me wonder how staff was sanitizing their hands and one of the toilets in ladies room had no toilet Lid to sit down on. It was lying on the floor.

Mr Antonio was my server, originally from beautiful Mexico city ?????, he is a great working person with a great heart. Had the opportunity to meet him. Food was great! Inside restaurant was nice, felt like i was in mexico!

The food was kind of on the expensive side, but it was delicious. I certainly would go back to eat the food again. On the other hand, service was very basic. The waitress came to take our drinks order, and she took a long time to come back. Then, she took out food order and did not come back until she brought our food. In the meantime, we had run out of chips and our drinks needed refills, but she was nowhere to be found. That became the pattern of the whole evening. There was very little interaction between the waitress and our table. She did not show us a genuine concern for us enjoying our meal and having a good time. I think most of us stopped asking for things because we knew our waitress would take a long time to come to our table. And for the sake of providing context, we were there during a cold and rainy night, so the restaurant was not busy at all (only a few tables were occupied). It did not make sense to me why she could be attentive to our table.
