Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant

My families favorite for many years, my father (deceased )and stepmother had their own special spot ?? very friendly staff, great food and a quiet atmosphere

Every time I go to Mi Casa, I'm treated like family. The service is always amazing, and even if something gets messed up, the owner personally goes out of her way to make it right. You don't see that kind of customer care often anymore. Plus, their prices are super affordable compared to most Mexican restaurants, and the food is always on point. Definitely one of my go-to spots in town!

Edited: after going back, I can no longer recommend or give 5 stars to this place. We went Sunday and anyone that has worked in a restaurant knows that, the church crowd is the worst crowd. They were extremely busy, and we waited about an hour for our food. But I can have grace for that. I ordered two cheese enchiladas, a chicken quesadilla and double rice, (because I did not want beans). The queso this time had no flavor and a weird texture. Our quesadilla was small but good. The problem is…. I don’t think I was served double rice!! My husband got a chili relleno, a quesadilla and double rice ….and I don’t think he got double rice either. The rice has little to no flavor. It took a long time to get the check …..just everything took a long time. I don’t think this lunch was worth $30! we should’ve went to Taco Bell Old review: Our waitress was friendly and attentive! We came 1 hour before closing so they were not very busy! We got our food quickly! The prices were great & very affordable! Appearance wise…. The food did not look fantastic. The cheese sauce looked different then what I’m used to but after tasting it, I could tell that’s because it was actually homemade! It had lots of flavor and was good! Also it was complimentary! The salsa had a good flavor as well! I got 2 chicken enchiladas, no beans, extra rice! Because I absolutely Mexican / Spanish rice! This rice was very pale in color and for some reason, had carrots in it? So I was nervous! But after tasting it, I was pleasantly surprised! It had a lot of flavor. I think it’s mostly chicken flavor rather then tomato (like most Mexican rice) but it was good! My chicken enchiladas had a lot of flavor and I liked them! My husband got the same thing, but with beef! His was good as well. I forgot to take a pic of our food cuz I was so hungry ???? but we will be back & I’ll take pics next time!

Amazing service and delicious food! Wish it was closer to our home.
