7th Street Restaurant

Each year when working for the town of Cushing I get the privilege of eating at this wonderful Small Town restaurant. The staff service and food is always second to none with great lunch specials. Yesterday was King Ranch chicken but forgot to take pictures and review but it was very good too... Now about this wonderful fish dinner. All I can say is wow... It was all fresh, nothing tasted Frozen or greasy. From the beans to some of the best coleslaw ever, fresh cut fries, tasty Colden hushpuppys but most of all it was good fish. Not fatty like many places now days and not salty. Everything was... Well as good as it can be. I wish it was an hour closer cause I'd be here a couple of times a month or more. If you live within an hour... It's worth the drive. This is a hidden gem in small town Texas.

Food was delicious and very filling. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would DEFINITELY recommend trying this place out. It's a quaint and adorable little restaurant with a huge menu selection. DEFINITELY will be back and going to try the steak next time. Chicken fried steak, burgers and the fried green beans were amazingly delicious.

Such a sweet little cafe! The food is amazing, and the staff are incredibly nice. The chicken fried steak is HUGE!! The onion rings are hand breaded, and are delicious! The servings are big enough to share. Save room for dessert, the pie is soooo good!! There is live music on Saturdays, and they have a little bar upstairs. We will definitely be back!!
