Small and intimate, super friendly and best of all, great food! Best huevos rancheros that I’ve ever had ( get a sprinkle of chorizo), with good coffee and pastries. They offered to grill the blueberry muffin and whip cream, and that was brilliant. Top 5 in the area, possible the best when considering how helpful the staff is. Highly recommended!
Solid breakfast burrito, and cute lil spot. Service was decent, though I was a little taken aback when, after I asked what the difference between the breakfast and mexican burritos were, the waiter just laughed at me with an "idk" like I'm the a$$hole for asking. Fortunately another (seemingly more senior) server waited on me and was much more knowledgeable/helpful. There are only like 20 seats in the whole place (about a third at the bar) so large parties be warned!
Excellent chilaquiles here and they aren't overpriced like most places. All around great place for breakfast. Tiny but cozy place to hang out in on the west side. Not pretentious by any means. Chill people work here and they have been for many years. They have all the stories. Hot coffee and food. Recommended.
Great to see this place reopen. Was one of my favorite old school brunch places before and just as good now. The eggs Benedict is top notch and their omelets are huge and delicious. Would recommend 100%!
Everything you want in a diner: the crispiest hash browns of your life, super friendly service, and wood paneling. The owner - who is also the baker - made a) me feel right at home and b) a street cleaning announcement so no one got a ticket out front. Go here.
