Lighthouse Grocery & Liquor

Thank God for lighthouse. Its the last store heading north of town and if it wasn't there I'd be in trouble frequently when I'm unable to go to town for a few simple things which lighthouse always has. Their employees are always kind and understanding of my struggles when I come in with my daughter and I appreciate them and their confidently organized super clean and friendly store.

A convenient last-stop shop for all those living in the area and further out. Wish it was open later, sometimes, but for all intents and purposes, an important store in a good location. Last bastion of "civilisation" for a few miles in either direction. Further edit - Pretty decent espresso stand here. Was pleasantly surprised at how good their hot chocolate was.

Really nice young man working both times I came in. Everywhere I go I bring my kids which is an added strain on every vendor I interact with, but this guy took it all in stride and was super helpful! Also they seem to have less expensive booze than in-town Ketchikan.

The cashier was unprofessional to say the least and treated and talked to me (38) like a child. Just because I missed his sign being tired, and after working late hours at the hospital. I will NOT return to this hole! And I recommend others to take their buisness else where unless this company hires professional staffing.

I love this little Grocery store, it’s got all the necessities if you forgot to grab some stuff for dinner and other odds and ends. Ice Cream, Paper Plates, Bowls, Drinks(non-alcoholic) such as: Gatorade, Energy Drinks, Milk, Single Capri-Suns, Etc. It also carries bagged Cereal by Maltomeal, pre packaged Pasteries and some homemade baked goods from A&P. It has chips, nuts, Twelve Packs of various Sodas, bottles of Sodas, Candy bars, frozen entrees, Frozen Pizza, toiletries and plenty of other useful items. Honestly the service is great, the people are friendly, helpful and the prices aren’t too bad considering you don’t have to run all the way back into town for half the stuff. One of my most favorite stores I just wish they’d carry the Costco Mufffin’s again.
