Las Margaritas Of Covington

Moved here from the West Coast and this is some of the better Mexican food we have found. The salsa was definitely better than any place we have tried so far, and the chips were nice and warm. The food came out fast, and the wait staff was friendly and patient with my melting down and tired kids....and me ???? wasn't as big a fan of the beans and rice, but everything else was pretty yummy. I will totally be coming back.

Had the lunch fajitas and a child’s chicken tender dinner. Both were good. Salsa was good as well. And the guacamole that came with the fajitas tasted great

Be careful when you eat at this restaurant when it comes to what they bill you. This restaurant had an employee who couldn't speak English well so he relied on his Manger to help assist him. When we asked the waiter a question he looked at his manager then he would respond. We explained exactly what we wanted, but he brought out the wrong thing. We asked for the regular two for one. We knew the drink was in a different glass when we received it. The restaurant will do this sometimes so we didn't question it. Once the bill came out we was charged for a drink double the cost of what we normally pay. We asked to speak to the manager and he refused to adjust our bill. Then we found out after speaking with a different waiter that he left off part of the drink we were charged for. The manager offered to bring the part that was missing after we had finished the drink. I will definitely be careful when I decide to eat there again.

DON'T EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!! Can you believe they have the audacity to slap on a ridiculous 2.58% charge just for using your credit card? And as if that wasn't enough, they have the nerve to add a family gratuity fee for having a mere five people at your table! To top it all off, they even had the audacity to sneak extra items onto our bill that we never even ordered. And when we confronted them about it, their response was simply to "read the sign." Seriously? How are you supposed to read a sign if it's nowhere in sight? Absolutely ridiculous! Needless to say, I strongly advise against wasting your time and money at this atrocious excuse for a restaurant.

Like similar reviews, I too had trouble with my bill for lunch special. Also, I’d like to point out that it’s nice in there for a convenient time out and just chill with a couple tacos. If possible however, I’d be way more comfortable eating at home because of the service. I had fajitas one time and tacos another time. Both were nothing to write home about, filled my belly.
