This was our first time at Larry's. We're on a weekend trip. My husband had a taste for a sub and didn't want the normal chain subs. I googled subs and Larry's came up. We hopped in the car and arrived about 30 minutes before closing. We received 5 star service. The two young ladies that was working was so friendly and knowledgeable. They wished us congratulations on being married two weeks. Gave great sandwich recommendations. Whenever we return on another adventure we will definitely stop by Larry's giant subs.
Great little sub shop! Matt, the owner, was probably the most pleasant person we’ve spoken with during our stay in Ormond Beach this time around. Sandwiches were perfect! The oil and vinegar they have has the perfect amount of tang to it. Husband ordered the BLT, love it, and the amount of bacon on it you would have thought he ordered it with extra bacon. Will be back again before we head back to Indiana.
Larry’s is hands down my favorite sub spot in our little town! I know I can always count on an amazing sub….every single time!!. It’s not just a hope….it’s a guarantee. The bread is always so soft, and you can truly taste the love that goes into every bite. Honestly, it makes me want to jump in my car and head straight there! Lol. Love me some Larry’s since I was just a little girl ???? thanks for never disappointing !!
The variety of subs is overwhelming but in a good way! Larry’s has something for everyone. You could feel the love and appreciation this place instills and delivers to every customer from the second you walk in. The subs are high quality ingredients and made with love. Prices are reasonable
Sadly, disappointed. We had sandwiches for takeout the night before. And breakfast the next day. The staff is super friendly and very nice. Let’s start with the sandwiches. $32 for a sub and a sandwich. So someone on the pricey side to say the least. The Philly cheesesteak sub was large and while it was Tasty, it’s not exactly a Philly cheesesteak in my opinion. It was about average the turkey Reuben on rye was really good. Came to pickle spear which was nice. The potato salad was decent. Breakfast is where we were most disappointed. Bacon and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll With a hash brown danish and what we were told was orange juice. They definitely use fresh cracked eggs and the egg itself was good. The bacon was decent. The Kaiser roll tasted like it was either previously frozen or refrigerated so it had to be toasted. The dish tasted like something you get out of a multi pack at Costco, and individually wrapped. The hash brown, couldn’t even eat it. Tasted like something to get in the Walmart Frozen aisle. The orange juice wasn’t really orange juice, it was a juice blend and I hate that. Breakfast was also very expensive just over $20 for two egg sandwiches at Danish hash brown and two orange juices. In conclusion, their bread could be a lot better. The portions are a good size but it’s a bit pricey. Nothing special about this place, especially for the high prices in my opinion.
