La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

Today I had Gorditas plate, maybe cause I'm used to Durango style, but these were fried and red.

We weren't sure that the restaurant was open, so we ordered from the express.window, which is basically a food truck. The carne burrito was a meat eaters delight. 80% meat with onions and cilantro. The meat wasn't as tender as I expected, but very good. The breakfast burrito has whatever you want in it, including a variety of meats, potatoes, etc

I ordered the Fajita Plate, trio style, with 3 meats (beef, chicken and shrimp.) I specifically asked for NO Bell peppers, and NO ONIONS ???? -- see the picture of the pile of onions I pulled from my meal. No sour cream came with it. And I had to ask for the pico de Gallo, which was dry. The rice and refried beans were also dry. I added cheese sauce to try and moisten it... The shrimp was blah, and had no taste. The two tortillas I got were very very small. Of course, if my waitress hadn't run off to serve a large group that came into her area, she may have not forgotten about me, and actually kept my glass filled with tea-- despite asking for Sweet Tea, light ice and NO lemon -- I got iced tea, sugar and a spoon -- AND the wedge of ????!! I don't like to eat my food without something to drink with it. It took 25 minutes until I got my third glass of tea-- and then she apologized for the first two glasses NOT being Sweet Tea. The notification of a 'convenience fee' of 3.99% for using credit or debit cards was hidden behind a donation box at the counter. There was no bill dropped at my table -- I went to the register, and told the woman what table I was at. I don't know what I was charged. There is no itemized receipt, just my credit card charge slip for the final total. I will not be coming back here again.

Rude manager with no people skills was visibly annoyed that I asked if they were open after waiting nearly 10 minutes in the drive through without even being acknowledged. She just responded, "we're busy, what's the name of your order" and left to get it. I said thank you when she returned with my order and she didn't even look at me and just shut the window. If people bother her, why work serving people? I can't imagine how unnecessarily uncomfortable it must be to work there with such a "leader". Thanks to the kitchen staff and not this jerk, the food was good.

FOOD!!! We had gorditas which are too spicy, if you are not use to spicy don't get it. I'm from Mexico and it was spicy for me. Tacos al pastor with one tortilla and meet its okay, no pineapple. Little price for a small/medium taco. Burrito carne azada was too small and little meat. ICE CREAM FIESTA!! The ice cream is delicious, we came back twice. SERVICE!!! We don't know whose the owner of this place, but they definitely have too much to learn and grow in customer service.They do not welcome you to the place. The lady who is in the ice cream shop doesn't know the flavors if you ask. She will point the name of the ice cream like "Dinosaur Blue", and said, I don't know what fruit or ingredients are in this this because I haven't tried it, or she doesn't know what flavors Rocki Road have... so you have an idea. She will roll over her eyes to avoid next question. No friendly at all. BATHROOM outside!!!! We are giving 3 starts just because ICE cream is delicious!
