Knights Inn Bakersfield

Something seems shady. so I asked for a room. the guy told me $100.00. I gave him my card and he told me he needs $20 of that in cash. next he gave me the receipt to sign and it only said $80. so my assumption is the truly cost $80 and he over charged me by the $20 in cash to put in his pocket. he didn't even give me a receipt of my own. Now the room was not horrible as it was fairly clean but lacking the basics. the guy had no problem bringing me a couple of towels and a roll of toilet paper. Next I went to climb into bed and it had dusy couch cushions under the cover as pillows and only one sheet over a heavy stained mattress. so as tired as I was after driving 15 hours I decided to just grab my own pillow and blankets. soon after I fell asleep I was awoken by loud voice in the hallway. as this was unexpected considering that you had to have a key to enter the place I went to investigate. it appears that someone proped open the security door and there was three individuals and judging by their appearance possiblely homeless and it sounded like they were conducting a drug deal. I decided to check on my vehicle to assure myself that the only thing they were focused on were their drugs and not the stuff in my truck. upon entering my truck it was immediately apparent that nothing had been distributed. on my way back to my room I asked them if they were guests here and they all said no. so i kindly asked them to close the door behind them on their way out and if they could keep it down just a little because I was trying to sleep. all three assured me that they would close the door and that they were leaving now. All in all the experience was not horrible and I would stay here again. but it would be nice if I got my $20 bucks back before I left .lol

Best price that I can find all over town 65 a night and 20$ deposit u get back at check out and there is 1 room with a jacuzzi tub for 80 plus deposit. Only bad thing is that it doesn't allow you to have any guests that are not with u during check in.... But if you want quiet or nobody to bother u this is the place to go with the best price hands down

Location is good and has nice parking facilities, room is decent if a little run down, I would have replaced the carpet and repainted walls instead of granite bathroom counter tops but hey. Room does have a microwave a fridge so that was nice and service was good. The only disappointment I had was after coming there after dinner I saw some bugs around the night stand and the poor carpet. Overall, a decent stay in a competitively priced room with a king bed and good air conditioning which in the summer is better than any carpet or insects.

Horrible they don't deserve a star, The places wreaked of weed and cigarettes in the hallways, one of the bed had dog hair all over the comforter. They don't offer continental breakfast. I asked for towels because the room didn't have any. I was told that they were locked up and nothing can be done to the morning. I went back and forth with the front desk so they went into another room and brought me 3 towel NOT towel sets and it was 3 people in our room. I asked to speak to the manger. I was told they were out for the weekend. It was so bad I booked a different hotel in the lobby. They refused to give me a refund even though I didn't stay.

Looks nice on the outside but this place is not nice at all. Not sure where the good reviews came from but there was a roach climbing on the wall on our way to the room, smelled horrible, and there was someone doing construction In a room at 11pm that’s what it sounded like anyways. We walked right out and we were able to get out money back
