King of Gyro

Ordered a mixed platter, was delicious. The meat, both the gyro and chicken were fantastic. The only thing that might need to be adjusted is the hot sauce needs to be ramped up a bit. The white sauce I give it a 7 out of 10, hot sauce a 3 out of 10, The rice a 6 out of 10, the meat a 10 out of 10. We'll come back for sure.

I ordered king plater and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The rice was undercooked, the lamb turned out to be hard, and the chicken was surprisingly tasteless. This combination of culinary missteps left me quite disappointed with my meal.

I’m so disappointed ?? I ordered king platter with green sauce and chicken cofta platter with white sauce. But they put green sauce for both. I didn’t know the green sauce was spicy ????. I just tried and now I know just stick with white sauce the original gyro sauce. Ugg…. Otherwise it was ok for a meal.

The food was incredibly delicious. They are in a great location, basically apart of the Rutgers campus, and are conveniently open very late into the night. The area was very lively and happening at midnight and 1 in the morning, so youre not alone at all.

We get lamb and chicken hero’s from here and they are delicious. Most chicken from gyro places are dry and bland but chicken from here is flavorful and delicious. But I have to say that the rice is what I love the most. Their rice is flavored perfectly. Honestly would eat the rice on its own with no objection. Service was fast. Street parking but it’s not really an issue since All we did was pick up our food and head out.
