Kerri's Dougherty Diner

Great burger and fries. Very generous portion of fries. They were fresh cut and well cooked. Burger had a grilled bun and shredded lettuce. Meat is 5 oz. patties, so might want to get a double meat. We saw folks eating orders of catfish and chicken fried steak and they both looked delicious. Diner was full of local folks which is a good recommendation. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Would recommend this country diner if you are in the area. One word of caution, water in the Sulphur Davis area has a taste of Sulphur so you might want to bring your own bottle of water.. Would certainly go back..

Great food for reasonable price. I had fried fish and fried chicken. Food was fresh and delicious. They do have great service too. Wait time for food is about 5 minutes once you order. Lovely place, would recommend to anyone who love catfish.

My favorite place to get catfish. It's worth the detour off of I-35 if you are traveling. They are quick and super friendly. You get a lot of food for the money and I have always left with another meal. The beans are amazing and the fries are hand cut. Though I haven't ever tried anything other than the fish it looks and smells great so I think it's safe to say anything on the menu is a good choice.

Steak sandwich was cooked perfect and fresh with meat taking up most of the plate, we needed a second plate just for fries. Fries were amazing without any need for seasoning or salt and did not have any greasy taste or texture. Banana pudding was creamy and to die for without imitation tastes. Ladies were just as wonderful. Husband says "if their food is this good, I wonder how good the fresh catfish will be?" Hands down it was an AMAZING place to eat and I'm SUPER picky.
