Kanpai Sushi Bar And Fusion

Was looking through the area for Unagi Don and Kanpai did not disappoint. Excellent presentation, flavour, and portion. I also had the Kevin Roll and it was surprisingly rich in flavour. The sweetness in the roll took me by surprise but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It may be a little too sweet for some so if you don't like sweeter flavours but something similar I would suggest their Shrimp Tempura Roll and ask for a side of eel sauce. TL:DR 9/10 will eat here for lunch again.

Amazing lunch prices on Hibachi. The New York Strip was deliciously prepared and even the Miso was well done. Good balance of herbs and tofu. The music in the background was horrendous though and I personally don't watch football at all so none of the entertainment was interesting but the place was clean and had an excellent bar vibe, minus the music.

My son and I recently sought out a Chinese/Japanese restaurant for lunch, having noticed this particular spot during our trips to Walmart. Excited, we entered the establishment, but our enthusiasm quickly waned as no one greeted us upon arrival. After standing for a minute, I approached a woman for a menu. She asked whether we wanted takeout or to dine in, and feeling somewhat unwelcome, I opted for takeout. The interior was clean and beautifully decorated, so we decided to sit at the bar while perusing the menu. A courteous gentleman soon approached and welcomed us. Being our first visit, I chose a simple fried rice dish, while my son opted for nuggets and fries. Our total came to $20.63. Upon returning home, our disappointment grew. The nuggets resembled Tyson Dino nuggets, the kind one could easily purchase from Walmart across the street, and the portion of fried rice was scarcely more than a cup. While the cleanliness and decor of the restaurant were commendable, the lackluster service and disappointing food quality left little incentive for a return visit.

A nice sushi restaurant. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Good food with lots of choices.

Went here while in the area recently. Service was a little disappointing, took awhile for anyone to come take our drink order. Food took awhile to come out, I did order Hibachi but the restaurant wasn't busy. I got way more vegetables than I did meat as well. Overall it was fairly pleasant experience. The egg drop soup and the spring rolls were very good as appetizers. I would probably go back if ever back in the area.
