Johnny V's Restaurant

Lively place which gives you access to EVERY server on every visit. They all care about you. Been going there for nearly 50 years. Run by second generation (son of founder.) the double cheeseburger has the right amount of flavor, juice, and taste for a diner. For breakfast, i get the link sausage to take me back down memory lane. If you somehow, you get overlooked, just speak up and they will take care of you. If you are a regular, you are greeted with a smile and a good morning. Many of the servers have been there 10 years or more. If you are looking for a pristine clean, MICHELIN experience, keep on driving, but if you want good diner food shared with people from every walk of life, grab a table or sit at the bar. Let them guide for your first visit, and make up your own mind about it.

I've been going to Johnny V's ever since I was a kid. I always have been treated as family. There's no other place in Macon Georgia that you can get a economical and delicious meal like Johnny V's. I would recommend for anyone who hasn't tried it to give it a try it will be worth your time and money and that's something very hard to find these days.

Mom and pop places are great for historic and cultural vibes. This place didn't disappoint. Staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. It is cash only but it was pretty cheap.

The customer service here is excellent—friendly and attentive staff made for a pleasant experience. The food was average; I tried the breakfast, and while it wasn’t the best I’ve had, it certainly wasn’t the worst. I’m planning to return and try their lunch menu to get a better sense of what they offer.

This place needs to be shutdown by the health department. Restaurant is nasty. Waitress sat us at an unclean table and never came back to wipe it down before bringing our food out. Floors were disgusting, literally looked like they hadn't been mopped in a month. Waitress had grease and food stains all over her shirt. Yuck! When the food came out to the table they had gotten our order wrong and had to correct it. Food quality and taste was sub-par at best. Definitely do not recommend eating here.
