Jim's Family Restaurant

Living near by my first experience was wonderful fast and friendly service and enough for a breakfast and lunch

I've always wanted to stop here, and I wasn't disappointed when I did. As the name says, Jim's is a family restaurant, a place you stop for a good, home-cooked style meal. I chose the chopped sirloin steak, which comes with either fries or mashed potatoes and one side. I selected the mashed potatoes and a bowl of applesauce. The steak was large, at least three-quarters of an inch thick and over 5 inches in diameter. The potatoes were fresh and of good consistency. It's a great meal that tastes good and fills you up. The staff was friendly and attentive and seemed genuinely concerned that you were enjoying your food. I'll be back.

Classic breakfast diner. Standard breakfast fare that was served quickly. Food was good and the service was prompt.

This place had great food! We came here for breakfast. You get lots of food and great prices. The server went above and beyond. My coffee was never empty. She even gave my little the long receipts ever, hence the picture.

Hamburger is one of the best around. It tastes like when my grandmother made me a burger. Their hamburger horseshoe is amazing. The cheese sauce actually has flavor. Their sweet tea is super sweet, just the way I like it. Reminds me of the good old southern sweet tea of my youth. Breakfast is always good here as well. If you are wanting something classy this isn't the place for you. It is the local dive joint that has good service and great food. Some might say it is a bit pricey, but you can't have everything.
