I was a little skeptical about new ownership of BG's and how it would change things. BUT! I was so wrong! Nothing really changed, the staff was talkative, fun and quick to serve. We were there for a pre-reunion to our class reunion and with the karaoke going strong, we all had a blast and I even have plans to keep heading up there for the fun!

USED to be a great bar. The regulars need to learn this isn't their living room though. Extremely cliquey and not welcoming to new patrons. Lots of drama that should be left at home. Drives away new business. Regulars think they own the place. Staff backs them up. Feel bad for the owner. Great sound and acoustics, but the atmosphere ruins it.

More fun than it sounds like. I always felt like the word karaoke was Japanese for poor singing. It turns out it's just a lot of fun. The drinks here are very inexpensive compared to other places. They serve some of their mixed drinks in something that looks like a mason jar with a handle They're very large. Be careful how much you drink here are you may just find yourself up on stage warbling at the crowd. The crowds are fun and very warm and welcoming.
