Imperial Beach

A nice quiet Beach and a good place to watch the sunset. Now if they can just get the Tijuana River sewage straightened out. It'll be a great Beach to spend the whole day and go surfing and swimming

Beautiful!!! Miles of sandy beach next to the Pacific Ocean. Nice waves and lots of beginner surfers. Great to take a walk or a stroll. Kid and dog friendly ???????????? also a walking distance to Tijuana nature preserve.

What can I say about Imperial Beach. Let's just put it this way I love San Diego. It's a beach I used to go to when I would stay down at my aunt and uncle's house. So many things to do. This beach is within walking distance from my aunt's house. Not only that it's right down the street from my favorite Beach Coronado. I also got to see the ships which has been a while and on top of that see the helicopters do their touch and goes once again. The sounds of the helicopters doing they're touching goes from the base would wake us up and I never got tired of seeing it. Another must go to place.

The beach was beautiful and not at all crowded when we stopped. The weather was so nice, just perfect. I searched for public beach access using google maps and found a spot to get to the beach, but access was a little difficult to find when we've never been there before.

I believe the water was contaminated when we visited. They are having issues with sewage. Beach is pretty though and of course empty.
