Hungry Heifer Diner

Cute little diner. I got the double bacon cheeseburger with the hand cut fries. Fries were excellent, tasted homemade in the best of ways. The beef on the burger itself was fine, the edges were nicely grilled but the patties themselves tasted underseasoned. The salt from the bacon and the flavor from the cheese and fry sauce saved it. My friend got the corned beef hash, it was good, but it was just the hashbrowns with big chunks of real corned beef on top. Would have been better grilled harder with diced potatoes, maybe some onions and peppers, too. We got a cow pie on the way out; two homemade chocolate chip cookies with a whipped cream frosting confection in the middle. It was incredible. Anyway, would recommend for classic diner food and atmosphere, good portions and check out the desserts up front.

Best breakfast we’ve had in 800 miles of traveling! You must stop here if you’re traveling on the 101! We were able to park our motorhome & tow on the street near by. Their in house made sausage patties and homemade rye bread are awesome! Perfectly cooked over easy eggs and omelets. Large portions, you won’t leave hungry. Thanks April for great friendly service!

I had a spicy burger with jalapenos in it. It was so delicious! I got onion rings that were so unique and delicious with a spicy sauce, they looked like donuts! Great waitress too! She answered all my questions about the town that had great metal art all over.

We both had the barnyard scramble breakfast and choose the great biscuits and coffee to go with our meal. A great meal. It’s important to note, the Hungery Heifer is in the City Center area of Raymond, just a 1/2 mile off 101. Well worth the trip for Breakfast and lunch.

The food was amazing and the portion sizes were huge! If you are looking for a "good home cooked meal" this is your place! The service was top notch! I will definitely be back!
