Hot Rod's Pizza Hazard

First time coming into here, there was hardly anybody here which made the room feel very comfortable and chill. We opted in for the buffet and it was fresh pizza, one of the workers was taking out the hot pizza onto the buffet as we were getting settled into our area. They also had fresh salad too. They don't serve eggs due to the Rising cost, understandably. The pizza they serve at the buffet is cheese, pepperoni, bacon and supreme. All is very good and not too salty. Their breading is a beer batter from what we tasted and is very good, comparable to variety pizza in Jackson, KY. This is our favorite pizza joint from here on.

Some of the best pizza around. Other great items on the menu as well. Can't wait to go back.

Not good, like I reckon half the people saying this is good must be on the Perry County dumpster diving team. There was a weird smell. The food was WONKY. I don't know why but everything that had cheese in it has a sour taste like a foot had been used as a spoon to stir the food with and most of the food items are freezer stuff. Even the salad tasted like it has set out in the fridge for 2 days uncovered, bet they got half of it from the front lawn. I'm sorry but this place has no sense of flavor. I paid 27$ for two people just to laugh at how bad it was. Jokes on me I guess.

Ate here a few weeks ago. Hands down (Miguels, in Slade) and this place in Hazard have the best pizza I have ate in eastern kentucky The crust was homemade, toppings and all of it fantastic

This is one of the best dining out experiences I have had in a while. The salad bar was fresh, well stocked, clean, and had a huge variety. The all you can eat buffet was kept well stocked with fresh pizza, desserts, and even things like spaghetti, nachos, hot dogs, and soups. The place was spotless clean. If you do the buffet, it’s very self serve so we didn’t interact with staff until time to pay. It was just a great experience. I do not live in the area any longer, but my parents do. We are already planning our next trip back. This was our mom’s birthday dinner and we all agreed we couldn’t have gone anywhere better. The prices are also extremely affordable. 4 adults, an 11 year old, and 2 year old got the all you can eat buffet plus two bottled drinks (not included in the price) and I think our total was just over $70. Fountain drinks are included with the buffet. We will definitely be back and we will be recommending to everyone we know!
