Home Folks Family Restaurant

This was a nice family-friendly spot for a quick lunch during our drive through Tennessee. We had no trouble finding parking. There was plenty of space, which made things easy with kids in tow. We were able to get in and out without much wait, which was great. As far as buffets go, the food was about what you'd expect, some items were definitely better than others. The mac and cheese, however, was a real miss It had a watery texture and very little flavor. That said, our server was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we’d be happy to stop by again if we’re passing through.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was very good outside of the Mac and cheese being frozen. The chicken and dressing with gravy was very good. The salad bar is self serve and the menu is served family style. I really liked that the portions were appropriate for the number of people.

Kind of like a country church homecoming potluck, ya need a bigger plate. Staff was friendly, food was good. Seemed to be a mix of home cooked food and factory prepared. Good selection and lots of options on the buffet.

We met some of our family here at this local family owned restaurant. We had a good experience here. The way they serve the food to you is very well done. It is a unique way of serving. We enjoyed the food and service very much. Thank you.

Typical southern food that is decent most of the time. It’s been hit or miss the last few times. $38 for two people is a bit steep in my opinion and the only way to leave a tip is if you get cash back when you pay. You also pay before you eat now. It’s a friendly restaurant that was best before COVID. You get you what you pay for or you get a few veggies that are worth eating.
