Hillsdale Filling Station Deli

Was very impressed with this cute little deli, they opened up today to serve the fall color train from Indiana. I had a lettuce wrap and hubby had the whole sub, he said the bread was great... it's a pick your own toppings place, but definitely add the bacon! It's amazing!!! FYI, photo is only half of the whole sandwich, couldn't get the photo before hubby dug in!

My husband came back with there soup of the day. Beef Vegetable.... I'm almost certain they put a can of mixed vegetables and there's even Lima beans floating around in water. I would be ashamed to sell this in my establishment.

Small deli in the heart of Hillsdale. They pile the sandwiches high and offer some great sides. Recommend you try the house sauce on your next sandwich. I believe they also sell delis meats and cheeses by the pound as well. Rotating daily specials mean you can eat something different every day of the week.

The family and I enjoyed every bite!! The atmosphere was welcoming also our chef was very patient(we came in with a 5 year old and 12 month old) they are too. Will be enjoying another meal soon!! Eat local its worth every star!!

There isn't a better place to get sandwiches anywhere. Cindy does such a great job putting love and care into each sandwich. She catered my step-dad's funeral and the empathy and care she put into the deli trays and how well she treated us and remembered us almost a year later really speaks volumes to who she is as a business owner and a person. I will always come visit the Hillsdale Filling Station when I'm in town.
