Harry's Cafe & Place

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because our server was so sweet. The food is not good. The fried egg sandwich tastes like what I whip up for breakfast, with zero cooking skills at all. They have fries and no condiments besides great value ketchup to dip them in. I asked for ranch and they brought me out a bottle of hidden valley ranch that expired in March (it is now June…) they gave my daughter “chocolate milk” that tasted like cold hot chocolate made with rotten milk. Like the entire meal and everything sucked and 2/5 of us are at home sick right now and I’m about 95% positive it was the food. So if you want good food, condiments and to not have diarrhea…pick a different spot.

My friend and I stopped here while in Lake Geneva on a mini vacation. We loved that they had a outside sitting area for breakfast. I gave a four star only because the prices for the items were high and the service was just okay. The food however was yummy! The hash browns were cooked exactly the way I like them and the Kahlua coffee was delicious as well.

The servers were good and very friendly. However the place is understaffed and it took a long time to get our eggs served and they never brought us the side of sausage. I don't blame the servers though. There were only 3 for the entire store. The atmosphere inside is nice and I like the decor. Food was ok, a bit plane but not bad. Not coming back.

Every time we come to Lake Geneva, whether for lunch or dinner, we always come to Harry’s. For a diner, the menu and the quality of the food do not disappoint. Our experiences here have always been pleasant. Don’t forget about the all day breakfast!

Great breakfast spot, no wait and fast service. The food tasted very fresh, it exceeded our expectations. We had the Harry's special, veggie omelette, and our toddler had the one cake. On a Saturday morning, where other more marketed spots were full with lines, we took a chance on Harry's. With Christmas music and it's vintage atmosphere we definitely liked it very much. The next time you're stuck in a breakfast line elsewhere take your chance on Harry's, it won't disappoint.
