Happy Garden

Second time here. Great place for made to order food! I got their mixed fried rice with vegetables and an appetizer of 3 egg rolls. The price fits well for the quantity served ???????? Staff were courteous and friendly. Great job

I usually go here because it’s the only good Chinese food in Lamar but today when I went the service and food was awful. The food wasn’t as good as it normally is. The orange chicken was very hard to bite and pick up with fork, the chicken fried rice was flavored weird, and the beef lo mein was very sticky and all stuck together. And the lady Amanda Archuleta that answered the phone and took the order could’ve been more customer service friendly and at the end of my order she hung up on me. Not sure if I’ll be going back anytime soon. I think they need consistent quality of food and definitely better people with good customer service.

Awful food, customer service and overall atmosphere. There was 2 pieces of hair, one long dark and a short light colored piece. The sesame chicken was very dry & tasted like it came from the frozen section in walmart. After telling the waitress I would only pay for the drinks and appetizer (wontons were burnt) the manager came up to our table and told me we had to pay for it or she would call the authorities. I told her go right ahead because I am not paying for something I didn't eat. They ended up taking the meal with hair in it off the ticket but made me pay for the disgusting sesame chicken which I didn't even get to take home to give to my dog. This is worse than dog food, don't go here, try 1301 Tavern. At least we know that restaurant has quality food and service.

I wish I could move this restaurant to garden city ks. This is my absolute favorite restaurant ever. The service is amazing and the food is still amazing by the time it gets from Lamar to Garden without being microwaved. Serving sizes are not skimpy so make sure to show up hungry!

Very friendly n peaceful environment super clean even though there is some construction in front of the street we found away in. If you are on the road is a great place to stop and eat n relax after a long drive . Really good Tea big portion of food n delicious.
