Half Price Books

Great selection of books, music, and movies (I’m generally a pulp fiction-era horror AB’s science fiction guy, and they have a pretty good selection). I’ve taken large amounts of books there to sell on numerous occasions and they’ve always been kind and pleasant to work with. They do not pay a lot for books and media, but I’m also not bringing rare items, and usually cleaning out stuff we don’t need, so it’s nice to get some cash for “cleaning house.” ???? Honestly, they are fairer in their purchases than some other places I’ve gone, and the experience has always been good.

I was quite impressed with their selection of books and other craft kits, etc, at very reasonable prices. I brought some old paperback novels and other books over to them since we were clearing out our library at my workplace and they gave me a little cash I can now spend on a few other things that will be useful at work. Great little store!

The lady at the desk was so knowledgeable and helpful. It was my first time in and I was looking foot my daughters all books. Great prices too.

Will buy all your books but don’t even look them up and actually price them. Don’t bring in a mix of books because they value everything from the one book that is the worst. Bringing in your books separately you will get more cash! Books don’t sell fast, so they use that excuse to give you the lowest price possible. They say they are fair which is the furthest from truth! But they do pay cash

I love going here for books on their clearance shelves. Their books are already half off the manufacturer's listing $$. They have signed books, limited edition, music, movies, board games and gaming. They have a wonderful children and teen section. If they don't have it, they'll do their best to find what you're looking for in their HPB system. If not, they'll order outside. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and love books.
