Haggerty's Steakhouse

Oh my gosh! What a find! Thanks to google reviewers I found this place. Haggerty's Steakhouse has really good food. I had a 10oz ribeye smoothered in mushrooms, with a bake potato & salad. Man oh man, the salad was sooo good and I dont know why. It was a simple garden salad. One I have had a thousand times and could be found at any steakhouse. But not when it comes to taste. I haven't found this "taste" at any other steakhouse. Sooo fresh. Crisp lettuce, Tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and smoked bacon bits. Nothing special right? Notthing special but the taste. Soo good. I can't explain it. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. So flavorful & tender.... the texture was like primerib. Tender & juicy. Every item was delishous. Nothing was over nor under seasoned. I added nothing to anything. No salt, not pepper, not even on my baked potatoe. Oh I did add hot sauce to my grilled oysters on a half shell. Im done. This is now my favorite place in Roanoke. I will stop in next time im in this town. I must give a shout out to the wait staff. So personable & kind. Patient & attentive. Forgive me for not using your name... the favor of the meal overwhelmed me~

Enjoyed exceptionally generous Veterans Day hospitality for the third year, courtesy of Colby Lyles, the local Edward Jones representative. My grilled scallops were excellent, but could have used more seasoning, lemon, etc. Sweet potato fries always win, and my mother’s hamburger steak was fine too. I’ve been here several times since last year’s event, and hope that’s the case this year too. Good food, great patio when the weather allows, and a really generous Veterans Day program - be sure to tip generously if you take advantage of this or any similar offers!

Festive little steakhouse nearby our lake house. Stopped by with a larger group, the waitress was so attentive and caring to her tables. We got a bunch of cocktails that were all on the sweeter side. We also had asked for our steak medium rare, but they came out medium well to well done. Aside from the food feedback, our soups, sides and shareables were all delicious. We all had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our dinner there. Great team of staff who checked in on us throughout the meal.

A nice cozy restaurant with a date night atmosphere you would love. The food has always been great. A simple menu with plenty of choices. So you don't have to spend all night deciding, you can spend the time with the special someone you are with. By the way, don't skip the desserts, you will not regret it. They usually have different desserts each time we go. This last time we had the strawberry lasagna and chocolate lasagna. Delicious!

Great wings! Very very very dry and burnt burger and bun! Place needs an upgrade. Good service.
