When in early around 1:00 p.m. they were just bringing out food to put in the steamer sections to keep warm. The food was warm at the most meaning it must have been cooked the evening before ! I enjoyed eating their 3 or 4 times prior to this to this occasion will not go back as a food is not fresh from what I've seen at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon! Most definitely was not worth $16 per meal, and $2.49 per drink!

Keep your cotton picking hands off my delicious Ribs! What Deep South tradition infused with the way of the land. From white collards to the black eye peas, the table is set fo sho business! How does Texas, Kansas City BBQ compare to that of the Deep South you may ask? Well let’s just say, it’s humbling and full of generational flavor. Recipes passed down, home cooking still cooked as it was 200 years ago. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel here, it rolls perfectly fine!

At 11:15 the food seemed to have been warmed over. The only item steaming in the bar was a full pan of mashed potatoes. I could not remove the peeling from the shrimp. The cherry cobbler was cold. A waste of money in my opinion.

We used to go here when it first opened. The original owner sold it and that was it. The new owner decided to fix what wasn't broken. Food is horrible. I love Brunswick stew. Whatever that was, it wasn't stew. It was thick Butterbean soup. Service is horrible. I had to ask 3 times for a refill on tea. Server never came to check on us. If you want GOOD SOUTHERN BARBEQUE, go to Ralphs. Much better food, better service, and worth what you pay. This place is not even close to what they charge. Sheetz food is better than this......will NEVER go back. And if you can't decide...just look at the parking lot when you get there. Never full. Maybe 10 cars...that's a busy day. Don't waste your time.
