Made from scratch food. Very friendly servers. Stopped in for lunch and discovered this is the oldest bldg in the town. This owner had take over from previous one and the server I had drove 45 min to work as she liked working for the new owner. I gather he's doing well at growing his own reputation as my lunch was wonderful. I got the salad plate with the 3 different salads. All were delish. I took a photo as you can see. It's a lovely diner in a lovely spot on the corner. I gather breakfasts are very good and will try on my next visit.
A wonderful setting for any breakfast. Mr. Ed does his very best to satisfy your taste and needs. An awesome crew to satisfy your menu as well. He does catering on request, just ask him. I love his pancakes.....mmmmmm good!!!
Miss the old owners!!! Sat at a dirty table, waited over 45 minutes for food which only half came out and was told they ran out of corn beef hash. No toast or home fries ever came out. Had to ask for silverware. Definitely not staffed enough and could tell waitress staff was stressed out. Very disappointed in the new management. Feel sorry for the waitress staff. Unfortunately will not return.
The diner was understaffed and only one of three waitresses seemed like they were working. It took 10 minutes to get beverages and a half hour before we were able to place our food order. The waitress was apologetic. When the food arrived, the burger patty on my cheeseburger benedict was burnt. I couldn't even cut through it. Our waitress was apologetic. Maybe we went on an "off" day, but everything was just subpar.
We just moved up to the area and were looking for a place for breakfast. After a quick lookup found the diner and have it a shot. The food was great and our waiter was fast and attentive. Can't wait to go back soon
