Glenwood Fish Nest

Our favorite place to eat when passing thru Glenwood. We can always count on a delicious home-cooked meal, clean restaurant, and a very friendly and professional staff !

In a tourist town it gets crowded and crazy ,the staff is efficient and top notch. Fish is good( im not crazy on fried foods) but the boiled shrimp and salad bar is spot on. I gave 5 on food an service but 4 because of the crowds for atmosphere. The place is clean and worth the stop

We had the best buffet including catfish, chicken, shrimp ( we didn’t try the frog legs) hush puppies and rolls. We didn’t try the salad bar but it looked amazing. We finished up with apple cobbler. Yum, Yum, Yum! Allie was our server and she was top notch. Despite the crowds of people, they were getting everyone seated and eating very quickly! We will definitely go back again!

Happened to see a lot of cars parked in front of this restaurant during dinner time, so we went in and saw the Friday deluxe buffet. It must be homemade mash potatoes. You can see chuck potatoes, big boiled shrimps, big frog legs, fried catfish, fried chicken, peach cobbler, and others. Friendly staff, local favorite, and great price, $15.99/pp. Definitely will visit again.

What a welcomed “hot food oasis” after a half day float trip down the local Caddo river. Excellent quality, down-home service and a fair price for a fabulous catfish/chicken/shrimp/frog legs buffet with all the trimmings and generous salad bar. Highly recommend because I know I’m DEFINITELY gonna visit again someday soon. Keep up the great job, Fish Nest folks!!!
