Glades Motel

We are traveling to the Everglade National Park. Stopped in Naples at the Glade motel. It is just like the pictures. Very clean small hotel room with nice refrigerator. Very nice shower with good towels, the shower is narrow but very nice. This was a perfect stop for us, bed Very comfortable and TV good for Monday night football. We would stay here again especially taking US 41 to National Park. I had a good night sleep just what we needed.

Very Clean room, comfortable bed, super quiet mini split AC. A little expensive ($150) for the accommodations but the cheapest for the area.

A cute little throwback to the 1950's. It's been remodeled, of course, but it reminded me of all the mom and pop motels I stayed at as a child when I traveled with my parents. It was clean and conveniently located on the old Tamiami Trail in Naples. The owner was sweet and charming and really cared about her guests. It is now 3 years later and I can't say many positive things about this motel. The owner is still friendly, but quality has declined. I stayed 6 nights. My room was not cleaned at all one day and the other 5 days the bed was only half made. The microwave and fridge were so rusted I was afraid to use them. The towels and sheets were so old they were full of holes. Sadly, I would recommend that folks stay away.

Room, bathroom, and bed were of decent quality and clean so not much to complain about there. Service, however, pretty bad. One, I booked/paid for the hotel through booking.com and upon arrival I gave them my card for the deposit then was charged again for the room. I brought this up and they said they would use that as the deposit then refund my money upon checkout which at this point I’m positive is not happening. Also, the front desk was pretty rude and unprofessional. I was greeted at the window by an individual who was eating without regard for the customer that just arrived, wearing a wife beater with flip flops, and communication skills were poor. I then returned later to ask a question and met another rude employee. The hotel is in a great location however. If by some miracle my money gets refunded I will edit my review rating.

I had a really nice experience here - a huge and comfortable bed, clean room and with a microwave and refrigerator. It was commendable that the owners were open and able to provide this to their guests just 4 weeks after Hurricane Ian. Highly recommended.
