Great local diner! Stopped in for breakfast and had the home style breakfast burrito... Excellent! Fantastic service. My son had the chocolate chip pancake. One was plenty!
Came here with friends to check it out, and I must say, their breakfast is top notch! My buddies finished their share of pancakes and french toast, and when I tried their Omelet Bowl, every bite left me in awe. Aside from the food, the interior of the restaurant was what also amazed me. The building in which the restaurant sits in still has that charm of being built 100 years ago. The interior has been beautifully restored with the original bar, wooden floors and ceiling. Next time you plan on having brunch with friends/families, be sure to stop in at this neat little place off the beaten path.
Good food, cool decor, awesome service. Our waitress Cora was exceptional; she knew the menu and all the options, showed a sincere interest in us enjoying our meal, and was genuinely friendly but professional. A very pleasant discovery while traveling...and you should definitely try the pie!
We like to support our locally owned and operated restaurants and we've eaten at Generations a number of times. The decor is great - what you would expect in a century old building in a small town, with a beautiful antique bar, cool fixtures, and pictures of music legends on the wall. The breakfast is usually good and filling and served all day long and the servers are nice. However, our dinner last night was less appetizing. There were very few people in the restaurant. Took a long time to get our salads (although the salads were beautiful and fresh). My husband and I both ordered the ribeye steak (mine rare, my husband's medium well). Unfortunately, both steaks were dry and tough as shoe leather, and my husband's baked potato was undercooked and hard. He could only eat a couple of bites and although we took his out in a take home box, he threw it in the trash right outside the restaurant. Too pricey to get such a poor product! We will go back for breakfast but there are better options for dinner.
Had breakfast there. I had omelet bowl and husband had western omelet. Both were very good. Served fast and hot. The coffee was good. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. We had a great experience and will come again.
