I had marvelous fish and chips here. The fish was perfectly cooked; the batter stayed with the fish, but it wasn't overly battered. Everything was really perfect, not greasy, and very tasty. They gave me way too many chips, but then I never eat all my chips. The only thing that confused me was they asked me if I wanted gravy and dressing with the chips. I didn't want gravy, and then when they said dressing, I thought what kind of dressing would you put with gravy and chips – maybe Russian dressing, or perhaps mayonnaise - or even a vinaigrette. So after I ate, I asked, and they actually serve "bread dressing" like you'd stuff in a turkey with chips and gravy. I didn't try it, but it sounds better than poutine, which is some sort of milk curd with chips and gravy. The lady doing the cooking was just lovely; we had a nice chat after I ate. She's very warm and friendly, and she really cares about the people in her community.

It's the only restaurant within a fairly long drive anD near St. Vincent's Beach (for whale watching). There's not much to it, but it was comfortable and the food was good. The staff was very friendly, but our server and the kitchen were overwhelmed with business so it took time to be served. Our server began with an apology, so we knew it would take some time. The fish and chips were worth it.

It's of the beaten path, put if you continue down what they can the Irish Loop, there are some nice views. The fish and chips I ps was delicious. The batter was a little harder then I like, but it was not a thick batter, which was good. Very friendly service and decent prices. They also have a pub attached if you works like to go there.

We ordered 4 dishes (Cod tongue platter, BBQ burger, scallop platter and chicken burger). I personally had the BBQ burger which was juicy and crunchy filled with flavour. All the dishes were very tasty as well as the quantity was good. The gravy is hands down one of the best we have ever tasted. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Has a pub attached to it with slot machines and a pool table. Would definitely visit again.

The food was good and the prices are more than fair. Had to share a long table with a family because of how busy it was. Definitely understaffed.
