Visiting Virgina and this location was recommended to us but the people we went to go visit. Definitely was a great atmosphere and welcoming staff. It was a good number of us that went but they were able to service us in a quick manner. The hibachi styled food is always great to try, I had the chicken and some steak. I would’ve loved to have the shrimp but I’m allergic but everything seemed very good. They also had dessert which we took some with us. Only thing was that I asked for an old fashion and it was like a sweet old fashioned. Never had that before but everything else was a great time. Would definitely want to revisit this place in the future and try other things on their menu.
After being to Benihana's in California so many times, it's hard to compare any place to their level. The rice could have used a ton more of the garlic butter. The meats were slightly under season but overall the food was good. Hated the fact that they put the end of our table on the little bridge between the two because 3 of our party really couldn't see what was happening and that's the whole point of coming in. Our guy was great and we tried to include everyone. I understand busy nights and trying to make seating happen but absolutely despise that bridge. I would give it a try again.
Atmosphere was okay. Menus were all torn up. Wait staff was fine. Hibachi chef must've been having a bad day. He wasn't very interactive. The food was poorly seasoned and a bit burnt. I'm not a big sauce person but I had to pour all the sauces on my food to flavor it. Flaming volcano was good.
We came in Friday night and the chef was absolutely amazing. He kept us entertained the entire time. We have never laughed so much or enjoyed ourselves at a restaurant like that ever.
Wonderful staff and experience. We went for a company dinner and the chefs were very interactive and the servers were helpful. Food came out amazing.
