Gee's Family Restaurant

Every dish was delicious. The egg rolls were huge and the best I've ever had; the broccoli beef was tasty and crisp; the pineapple chicken was sweet and succulent. Service was prompt, and they accommodated my mother's soy allergy, and also allowed us to modify the family dinner. I think this is the best Chinese food restaurant I've been to in all of Oregon.

Update 7/2025. Back open and clean throughout. Maybe under new ownership. Things are still good. I'll go back if I'm looking for Chinese food in Prineville. This was a great local spot for fresh Chinese food. All food was prepared fresh and was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. The décor was light and very clean. Prices were fair for the portions you get and you'll likely take some home.

It is a pretty popular place. My food was fine, nothing spectacular. Other person said theirs was good.

For anybody that has been to any Asian country. You will know that there’s a difference between authentic Asian and American Asian foods. If you prefer to have American Chinese food, then this place is right up your alley. The restaurant is very clean and has a decent amount of tables, but not so many that it seems crowded. The menu has quite the variety of different foods, but they are all the same that you would typically find at most Chinese restaurants. The staff was very friendly, I’ll be at, maybe not as attentive as I might have liked, but they did pay attention to drink refills, and when the check was needed. The hot and sour soup is delicious, and the main course was a lot more than I might have expected, so I definitely think I got my moneys worth. The food tasted great, there was a lot of flavor, a lot of variety of different ingredients, such as the zucchini, onion, chicken, rice, etc. However, I think that my sweet-and-sour chicken could’ve used a little bit more sauce. All in all this is a fairly nice American Chinese restaurant that gives you plenty for your money so that you can take home in a box if you’re not traveling like I am.

Good, solid Chinese food! The egg flower soup is made fresh and has lots of veggies. Service is excellent. Good bottled beer selection
