The best part of the meal was literally the fortune cookie but they didn’t even give us one with our check we had to ask for one on the way out. The food was extremely cold, old, and we went at dinner time on a Thursday around 6pm. The flavors of the dishes also tasted a bit off. I don’t think I will be back. The other buffet in Sayre was amazing compared with this place.
We arrived soon after opening, and oddly some of the food was cold, I think they must store it in the refrigerator till they open then set it in the warmers, so make sure to scoop from the bottom or stir it a bit, we eat here often and this is the only time I remember cold / cool food.
I used to come here 15 years ago and it's about the same. It's not the best quality Chinese, but it is cheap. About 4 dollars for each kid, 9 bucks for an adult. You can't beat that. Especially when kids are picky and they can choose what they want to eat. You don't feel like your getting screwed price wise if a kid doesn't eat much. The place is mostly vacant. But a lot of people come in for take out orders. The food is sometimes not good, but i usually just move on to something else. Next time it might be good or reversed. They always have ice scream, hibachi, sushi, and dinner has crab legs. Lunch does not. Adults for lunch are 9. Kids are based on age for 25 cents added per year. Adult on dinner is 12.
Just ate here. Food extremely old and cold. Dumping the old food on top of the fresh food. The best part of my meal was the fortune cookie at the end of the meal that I had to ask for. Sad that they have such terrible food during dinnertime on a Thursday.
I have to say, this is one of my favorite places to eat out. All of the food is delicious and likely suits the taste buds of most people. If you're worried about anything being too spicy or over seasoned, don't be. I have yet to find a dish that is too spicy or over seasoned at all. I think my favorite is the Hong Kong chicken (it has a unique taste that is hard for me to describe, but that a lot of people would probably love too), but pretty much everything else comes a very close second. In front, where you check in, there is a fish pond. The fish are beautiful. Huge bonus, the bathrooms are fairly clean. On the cleaner side for public bathrooms. My family drives a little ways to get here (our local buffet over seasons their food big time) and it's one hundred percent worth the drive.
