We had so much fun I took all my nieces to six gun city since there was the special when you purchase a regular ticket you get a second day free of course I would do it who doesn’t like specials!? I do special with a big family I took the kids to get distracted and it worked! They had so much fun the staff in six gun made sure we had a nice time and helped us get around to different rides! Thank you this is a great place to come and have some fun and enjoy the kids for the day!
My family just got back from camping at Fort Jefferson adjacent to Six Gun City, and we ALL absolutely LOVED it! My kiddos are ages 2, 4, 6, and 9. There were rides that appealed to all of them. They had little live demonstrations that taught about people like Davy Crockett & Daniel Boone, and also a mini horse show that my oldest daughter was picked to be the "helper" in. My parents, my aunt, my husband and I all had fun too. It might not be the place if your children need to be entertained by all the latest gizmos and gadgets, but if they still have immaginations, they will love it. The staff was wonderful! The menu was a little limited, but let me tell you, their onion rings were amazing! Cute gift shop. The campground was very nice as well. Thank you to everyone at Six Gun City/Fort Jefferson for a great time in the White Mountains.
This place has seen better days. Most of the "park" is closed and roped off. The theme buildings are filled with decrepit and decaying props and machinery. The "attractions" that were working were unappealing and not well kept. The bumper boats pool was green with algae, the water slide had visible rust, I'm just glad there were no live animals there. My nine year old kept commenting what a sad place it was. The staff were pleasant and friendly enough, but were clearly demoralized and I can't blame them. We were there an hour and came away depressed. To work there must be soul crushing. It is also worth noting that they closed at 4:00 pm on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.
I WISH I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS! Just got back from a long weekend at Fort Jefferson Fun Park. My wife, myself, & my 5 year old son stayed in one of the small cabins actually located inside the park. I can't say enough how awesome this weekend has been. The staff were all fantastic. I have to give special thanks to Richard who seemed to be working all the time. He was very attentive and really made us feel welcomed and that he truly cared that we were having a great time. We also met a couple of the current owners who are children of the original founders; Tom and Karen. It was very obvious that they are passionate about the park that has been part of their family as long as they can remember. BTW, Tom's name really is "Tom Brady." That alone should be enough. The cabin we stayed in was clean and included; a small fridge, microwave, 3 beds, a kitchen table, plus a fire pit, picnic table, and a couple of deck chairs outside. The cabins do not have running water, but there is a beautiful bath house 40 feet away with public cowboy & cowgirl rooms as well as 2 private bathrooms with showers and sinks for the cabin renters use. The price was very reasonable and I will be booking a week next summer very soon. We got to walk around and explore the ghost town portion of the park after hours. The 5 year old thought that was really cool. We paid about $11.00 each for a wristband to use all of the facilities in the park for our entire stay. That was unlimited bumper boats, water slide, go-karts, laser tag, etc. Now I don't want you to feel I've mislead you. This is a park that has been in existence for about 70 years and some of the buildings need work and everything isn't shiny and new. This park is a "work in progress" being restored a little at a time by folks who love it. If you need Disney level attractions, you should spend Disney level bucks and go to Disney World! If you want to have a lot of fun with your family and help support the restoration of a family owned, landmark attraction, You should go here. Where else can you ride go-karts all day for about 10 bucks? OK. I'm rambling now. Just trust me. If you're not a snooty yuppie or something you will have a blast here! Rob Obvious
This place was run down, literally a ghost town. Half of the handful of rides were broken down. The workers looked miserable, just a miserable place. The only thing my kids half enjoyed was the laser tag. Wasn't even worth the discounted price of 12.95 I had paid for each of us, which was 6 of us, waste of time and money!
