Worst shrimp foo Yung I've ever had. 30yrs l have enjoyed this dish across America. It was cooked not in a patty but like a scramble that's runny with super sweet watery gravy YUCK. The hot and sour soup was like it came from a packet of instant soup. Called promptly and the elder said I was the only person to ever complain and my $30 meal for 1 is my loss. Terrible customer service and even worst food.
The food was meh. I’ve been there twice and I left feeling it was ok. The chicken is kind’ve hard, the rice doesn’t seem to have much flavor fried or steamed, and most of all, it’s costly. The chicken’s a bit chewy. The rolls are always crunchy, though. A word of advice, don’t get their Thai tea. It’s bitter. The staff are nice, so there’s that. I don’t have much to say other than if you can, look elsewhere.
I was excited to try this place because the review score was almost a perfect 5 stars. We are newer to the area and this is the first Asian spot we've tried here. First the prices in store are higher than the online menu prices. There was a much longer wait than expected. Which I could live with because it is dinner time and places get busy. However the food upon getting home is not what was expected for the prices and rave reviews. My husband actually threw his away and I am eating mine solely because of how much we spent on it. I don't understand why the dumplings look like the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store, I have never seen that with take out dumplings before. The food needed to be warmed up a little after my 5 minute drive home. The taste is not bad but it is not great especially considering the price. I have not tried other local places to compare this one too so maybe it is better than others here but it is not what was expected based on my experiences else where. The people here however were VERY nice so I am sad to write this review. The restaraunt was also very clean.
New to the area. Food had absolutely no flavor. I spent $64 I got a large fried rice. Egg drop soup. Kung pao lunch plate. Fried rice had egg shells in it. Egg drop soup was literally water with hard veggies in it. Ended up throwing everything away and ordered from another restaurant which was much better.
Just tried this place tonight and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the sweet/sour chicken and my husband did the bang bang shrimp. Both were made to order and fresh!! Very delicious. I have never been to a Chinese restaurant that actually uses fresh veggies!
