Five Points Bar & Grill

A well deserved C+ Food was not bad not nowhere near good. The atmosphere on a Tuesday afternoon was ok. The place was pretty empty. Our food took way too long for simple burger, fries and wings. Burger was bland and wings+fries were flavorless. "The bartender had the personality of a rock" is what someone said and I agree. The one and only positive I have is the owner came out and introduced himself. He had a short pleasant conversation withy family. Sad because I've lived 2 minutes down the street for years and this was the first time trying it. I was looking forward to making this a local favorite to walk to. I might still come here for basic drinks but not the food.

Nice place, big portions. Quiet location. Service was fine. But honestly, the bartender on duty when I was there seems to have the personality of a rock. Would prefer a more welcoming attitude, something that says I am glad you're here. At one point during my visit, it smelled like someone was smoking weed in the back. I'm OK with the smell, but my wife who was there with me hates the smell.

This is a family oriented bar and grill. Stop in for a drink or a meal, you will be very pleasantly surprised. We have eaten here numerous times and each meal was very well prepared. The recipe for the sauce for many meals comes from an old family recipe that may be 150 years old. My lasagna recently is the best that I have ever eaten - anywhere. My wife and I eat here regularly while in this area. We have brought groups to join us in a meal, everyone has raved about the food. I am certain that you will too.

I’m glad to call Nick my neighbor. He has been the most respectful restaurant owner of this property to date. One night a few years ago, I heard noise emanating from his establishment while I tried to sleep. So, I marched over there and ranted about it. He responded in a reasonable manner and I’ve not heard any noises since. By giving Nick your business, you are supporting a respectful member of the Trumbauersville community.

We go here as often as we can. Nick, the owner, is an excellent host and cook and now friend. Just had the most delicious crab cakes and asparagus I have ever eaten!!!
