Fisherman's Wharf and tavern

Unfortunately, the place is old and crusty. It's more reminiscent of a local dive bar in small town America. Dark and dingy. The food is mediocre at best. And based on the name of the place, you would expect a bigger seafood selection. But it's very limited, and nothing my husband would have ordered. So he had chicken wings, which were overcooked but edible. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Again, edible but plain. Mine came with fries, which were freezer burned, crinkle cut, no name fries. And though the food seemed to come out quickly, it certainly wasn't hot. I know some people are thinking, "why not send the food back?" But if I did that, I would have just left and not bothered. Service was good. We have seen our waitress at a number of different venues, and she has always been great! She recognizes us whenever we run into her. Been there, done that, won't be back.

The salad was NOT worth 15 dollars. It had frozen thin dry chicken instead of fresh or real chicken. The fish my husband had and the hushpuppies and fries were loaded with grease. Tried because of new management but nothing has changed. The waitress was really sweet but that's the only thing good about our dinner. Will NOT be returning!! What a waist of 45.00!!

Just don't waste your money . Hushpuppies are so very greasy and I am sure the same grease is used to fry EVERYTHING. Old and moldy interior , tripping hazards everywhere very uneven floor. Had to give it a try geez I should have just gotten some gas station sushi. Yuk yuk yukky !

Friendly and very helpful staff. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Food is tasty and good. Restaurant is clean and plenty of room. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Cozy atmosphere and restaurant sits on Lake Murray and has dock available for boats. Plenty of parking available.

This is a Seafood platter! It is popcorn shrimp, tiny pieces of flounder, overdone scallops, and it was so cold as if it had been sitting for a long time. Sadly, I have a camera that's making it look good. They charge $21.95 for this!!! So, so sad, it was our first and last time.
