Filippo's of Mahomet

Hostess/server was extremely friendly. Location was clean. But the food was something I wasn't prepared for. The sauce on everything was so sweet that I thought I might get diabetes from it. The amount of sugar that must be added is absolutely crazy to me. Maybe it's a local thing so I can't discount that but it's definitely not for me. The salad had about twice as much cheese as lettuce on it with a single cucumber slice. That was definitely a weird ratio for what you'd expect from a salad. Only ate a single ravioli before the sugar content made me feel unwell. Ended up burping the flavor of sugar tomatoes for the majority of the night. No cash, which isn't advertised anywhere, was a huge issue because I'm traveling and don't carry cash. Only option is to use a gas station ATM. Luckily my bank refunds any transaction fees but it was still a nuisance that one of us had to leave mid meal to go pull cash. Overall would not eat here again.

Love getting pizza from Filippos!! Discovered this gem shortly after moving to Mahomet, and thank god we did! I’m mainly impressed by the staff, the fresh delicious pizza, and the prices! I especially love the Filippo’s Special pizza (supreme pizza), stuffed breadsticks, oh and the margarita pizza!!! 10/10 would recommend- love supporting this small business

I’ve been a fan of Filippo’s for years, but the crew in Mahomet is doing something truly special. Some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet cranking out the best food in the county. Every pizza I’ve had in the building or taken home has made me so genuinely happy. They even offer a take & bake option- which is super convenient for me! Now that the dining room has reopened, I’m sure they’ll be seeing me way more often. Don’t forget- cash only!

Food was amazing as always the waitress we had was amazing great personality and really cared about her customers and her job! The only problem I had was the temperature it was pretty cold in there but I understood it because the staff are running around like crazy making sure everybody was happy. Overall I plan on coming back in the future! ???????? Every time I go Bridget welcomes me like a friend and it's great to have a place like that where you feel like a friend instead of a stranger.

Filippo's is our families favorite place for pizza and pasta! Their pizza sauce is the perfect mix of sweet and their pasta is to die for! Don't forget about the garlic bread, it is soft and delicious! We absolutely love the staff here, they are top notch! The only change I would suggest is fresh mushrooms on the pizza instead of canned.
