The beach and boardwalk are nice. They have got to figure out something with parking expansion. We drove around 30 minutes to find a parking spot!!! Always clean and it actually wasn't too crowded on the actual beach itself. My client loves going here to check out the waves and enjoy the scenery. Will always go back because we are in the area and it's her favorite spot.
Another nice beach on the Southern Side of Englewood. The water is nice and blue, sand is hot on a hot day, and great water. The water was pretty warm. Only paid parking is available. Worth the visit!
Absolutely gorgeous beach! Have gone swimming here multiple times. There is several places to rinse off before getting back in the car. Nice pavilions and nice bathrooms. Great place to relax and watch the sunsets as well! They do have a good sized play ground and volleyball court.
Gorgeous beach to take your family for a day full of fun in the sun. The Gulf of Mexico is usually calm and extremely warm in the summer months. It gets a little on the cool side during the winter. The sand is nice and soft on your feet but do yourself a favor and wear shoes as it gets extremely hot during the summertime. You can almost always find sharks teeth and of course shells and maybe some sea glass down by the shore. There are clean bathrooms for the most part with a large dressing area with showers inside the building as well as several outdoor showers along the boardwalk. It's not an overly large boardwalk but has two big covered spots to stop and sit at. There are several covered Pavillions with grills and three larger ones, for large parties, that can be rented for the day. There are two volleyball nets. One is located on the beach itself, the other is by the tables. There is a basketball court and horseshoe pit area. A nice new playground and a seperate swing set as well. There is a drum circle on Sunday evenings (starts about an hour before sunset) and yoga classes on the beach as well (sorry don't recall when). There is no concessions stand on the permisses but a convenient store and beach/souvenirs store right across the street. There are also several great restaurants all located within walking distance. You have to pay to park (you can download an app at the beach) but unfortunately it isn't enforced like it should be. If so maybe more people would carpool as well as not illegally park. In season it is very hard to find a parking space even with the additional parking area behind the White Elephant restaurant. Make sure you apply sunscreen several times throughout the day as the sun in Florida is very strong.
Very public somewhat crowded nice beautiful water and many bars and restaurants in walking distance
