This is our favorite restaurant; when we come to Tryon NC! We always dine in when we come to Tryon. The food is great and the staff is even better; since I last ate there my partner, Ava & I are the 2024 national champions of Mexico in the sport of Ice Dance. My family and I plan to come in 2025 hopefully in the summer and your place will be the first stop. I was worried about you guys with the past storm 6 months ago but we called today to check on you guys. Thank God you are OK and open for business. See you soon???????????? Good salsa and chips to start. The tea is steeped perfectly. The ingredients taste fresh and the atmosphere is delightfully laid back. I'll be back even though it'll take me an hour to get here. ????????????

Good food nice employees I've been eating here for years ! Best Fajitas Del Mar around ! Bartenders are great also ! Their Pina Colada are the best around !

Service was sad from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left. Food quality was pretty gross. The flies had a good time. Refills on water almost had to be begged for. Acoustics were horrible. Don't get me wrong, the place was packed and every child in town was there. We do miss Mr Juan.

We’ve been away and was happy to see the same family operating El Sureno as before. Nice family and great food ????????
